Bare Your Sole Book.

I first became aware of Mind, Body & Sole in the summer of 2021 when I saw a few posts on Twitter offering help and support to people who were struggling with mental health issues and/or addiction to drink and drugs.

Shortly afterwards I covered their story for a newspaper article and since then they have gained over 20,000 followers whilst offering help and support to so many people. They even have a ‘drop-in’ centre and a sponsored stand at Congleton Town, their local football club.

I try to raise the profile of MBS at every opportunity and likewise my good friend Rob Purdon has provided some of his original artwork for MBS to use.

I spoke to Adam towards the end of the 2022/23 season and offered to put together a collection of my personal poetry and ‘spoken word’ for a book that he can hopefully sell to raise funds. I have included several new previously unpublished poems that have been written especially for inclusion within this collection.

Rob Purdon has provided the new original artwork for the cover, and we have both signed a limited run of the book entitled ‘bare your sole…’ which will be available for sale soon with all funds raised being received directly by Mind, Body & Sole.
